AUTO MODE SET AUTO , INTELLIGENT

SELECTION
Sets auto mode to optimize settings to suit the
scene to record (p. 54).
SCENE SELECTION
SET NIGHT SCENE,
SUNRISE&SUNSET,
FIREWORKS,
LANDSCAPE,
PORTRAIT ,
SPOTLIGHT, BEACH
Sets the scene to use when [AUTO MODE
SET] is set to [SCENE SELECTION] (p. 54).
SPOT METER/FOCUS Automatically adjusts the brightness and focus
of the subject selected by touching the screen.
SPOT METER Automatically adjusts the brightness of the
subject selected by touching the screen.
SPOT FOCUS Automatically adjusts the focus of the subject
selected by touching the screen.
LOW LUX OFF , ON Turns the function for shooting brighter colors
in dark areas on/off. This function
automatically adjusts the gain and shutter
speed
This function is available only when [AUTO
MODE SET] is set to [AUTO].
AUTO BACK LIGHT OFF , ON Turns auto backlight compensation on/off.
NIGHTSHOT ON, OFF Turns the NIGHTSHOT function on/off.
NIGHTSHOT LIGHT ON , OFF Turns the infrared light source for shooting in
NIGHTSHOT mode (p. 55) on/off.
Infrared lighting allows you to record clearer
images in dark conditions.
• Make sure that your finger does not cover the
NightShot light (p. 9) when shooting.
• Remove the lens hood (supplied) so that it
does not block the infrared light emitter.
• The light is effective up to a distance of
approximately 3 meters (10 feet).
