• During streaming, switching the current slot
using the SLOT SELECT button or removing/
inserting media is not possible.
Camcorder operation when using
USTREAM
The following functions are enabled when
using USTREAM. Use the hardware
switches and buttons to control the
camcorder. Operation from the menu is not
supported.
• Zoom
• Focusing
• Streaming volume adjustment (only the
AUDIO LEVEL dial of the XLR handle
unit is enabled)
• Exposure adjustment (iris, ISO
sensitivity/gain, and shutter speed)
• White balance

Stop streaming.

• MENU button
• ASSIGN button assigned with the
USTREAM start/stop function

CLIENT MODE
The following functions and services can be
used with network client mode.
Connection Control Manager
High-quality streaming employing Sony
QoS technology is supported by connecting
a Sony PWS-110RX1 Network RX Station
(sold separately) acting as a Connection
Control Manager (hereinafter, “CCM”).
XDCAM air
You can stream the camera image and
manage recorded material on the web using
the XDCAM air wireless cloud-based
service.

Configure the basic network
settings (p. 78, 83).

Press the MENU button.

Select (NETWORK SET) menu
t [NETWORK CLIENT MODE] t
[CCM SET], enter the following
items, and select OK.
• Host Name: IP address or host name
of the connected CCM or XDCAM air
• Port: Port number of the connected
destination
• User: User name
• Password: Password
