Step 6: Preparing the recording media
Refer to the following lists when selecting memory cards to use.
In this document, SD cards or “Memory Stick” media are referred to as supported memory
cards.

• To record in MPEG HD, “CBKZ-SLMP” (sold separately) is required (p. 42).
• Operation with all memory cards is not assured. For details about non-Sony memory cards, contact each
manufacturer.
• See page 153 for the recording time of memory cards.
• Only “Memory Stick PRO Duo” media, which is half the size of standard “Memory Stick” media, or
“Memory Stick XC-HG Duo” media, or standard size SD cards can be used with this camcorder.
