• The following configuration is applied when
[AUTO] is selected.
– If the camcorder is connected to a device by
wireless LAN as an access point (AP mode),
such as when using a smartphone as a
camcorder remote control, the frequency
setting is fixed to 2.4GHz.
– If the camcorder is connected by wireless
LAN to an access point as a client (station
mode), the camcorder is automatically set to
the same frequency as the access point.
Configuring a wired
LAN
You can connect the camcorder to a
network using a wired LAN.

• Turn the power off before attaching or removing
the VMC-UAM2 and USB-RJ45 adaptor.
