Understanding Failover Operations
4.2.1.2 Planned Failover in Windows Server 2008 R2
Follow these steps to perform a planned failover on a Syncro CS 9271-8i system running Windows Server 2008 R2.
1. Create a backup of the data on the Syncro CS 9271-8i system.
2. Open the Failover Cluster Manager, as shown in the following figure.
