User Guide LOOQS MeeBox Router

If your MeeBox has a custom domain name (such as yourname.com), select
Hostname user input and enter your domain name in the box under the drop-down
menu.

If your MeeBox has a static public IP address (but no fixed domain name), select
WAN IP. Your MeeBox’s WAN IP address will be automatically entered in the box
under the drop-down menu.

If your MeeBox is using Dynamic DNS, select DDNS. Your MeeBox’s DDNS hostname
will be automatically entered in the box under the drop-down menu.

4. Click Generate & Save.
Your MeeBox will generate the client certificate and key and store them in a ZIP file
named clientcert.zip, which will be automatically downloaded by your web browser. The
next step is to install these client files on your computer.

Installing the client certificate and key on your computer

If you have not already installed OpenVPN on your computer, please do so before
continuing.
1. On your computer, locate the file clientcert.zip that was downloaded from your

MeeBox when you generated the client certificate.

2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file. You should now have the following files:

ca.crt

client.ovpn

clientxx.crt (where xx is a two-digit number)

clientxx.key (where xx is a two-digit number)

3. Copy all four files into your OpenVPN config folder. On Windows, this is typically

C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config. On Mac OS X, if you are using Tunnelblick, the
config folder is usually ~/Library/OpenVPN (where ~ represents your home folder).

You can now start OpenVPN on your computer and connect to your MeeBox using the
client.ovpn configuration file.
