NOTE
Grid failure bridging time
With a supply voltage of 230 V to <50 V, the grid failure
bridging time is 280 ms.
With a supply voltage drop below 100 V, the grid failure
bridging time is 5 s.
An extended undervoltage operation is regarded as improper
usage. An additional fuse of the voltage supply (USV) should
be included in this case.
The grid failure bridging time of the tie circuit-breakers
should be observed. If necessary, the grid connection rule
requires that the tie circuit-breaker is not triggered before the
set trigger delay time.
When using the internal tie circuit-breaker and suitable KACO
inverter, adequate grid failure bridging time must be
provided at all times.
NOTE
If AC-supplied tie circuit-breakers are used, the AC connec-
tion can be simplified.

Use the wire jumper provided to bridge inputs A1, L1, 11
and 21.
Recommended conductor cross-sections and fuse protection of NYM
cables for fixed wiring according to VDE 0100 part 430:
•
Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
•
Fuse protection: Automatic circuit breakers, 16 A for 1.5 mm² con-
ductor cross-section
