Preface
The H3C WA series access points documentation set includes eight configuration guides, which describe
the software features for the H3C WA series access points and guide you through the software
configuration procedures. These configuration guides also provide configuration examples to help you
apply software features to different network scenarios.
The Network Management and Monitoring Configuration Guide describes how to manage the network,
view system information, use the ping and tracert commands to verify the current network connectivity,
and use the debug command to enable debugging and thus to diagnose system faults.

Convention Description
Boldface
Bold text represents commands and keywords that you enter literally as shown.
Italic
Italic text represents arguments that you replace with actual values.
[ ]
Square brackets enclose syntax choices (keywords or arguments) that are optional.
{ x | y | ... }
Braces enclose a set of required syntax choices separated by vertical bars, from which
you select one.
