Serial Tab
Dial Up
• Serial Port: Choose from the following Connection Types:
• Hayes Compatible on COM1:
• Hayes Compatible on COM2:
• Serial Cable on COM1:
• Serial Cable on COM2:
• Use Country and Area Codes checkbox – Checking this box will enable access to
the Country and Area fields.
• Telephone Number – Enter the telephone number that the modem will use to dial.
• Dial Button – Click the Dial button to initiate a Dial-up Connection.
Configure Button
Allows you to configure the Device Properties
Port Settings Tab
• Manual Dial Checkbox – Select this checkbox to allow the user to enter the dial
string manually.
• Terminals
• Use Terminal Window Before Dialing Checkbox – Select this checkbox to launch
an interactive terminal window prior to dialing the desired number.
• User Terminal Window After Dialing Checkbox – Select this checkbox to launch
an interactive terminal window after dialing the desired number.
