Terminal Connection Manager

The Terminal Connection Manager is used for helping you to manage your terminal’s
network connection. It will appear on the screen each time the terminal is powered on.

Creating Connections to Terminal Server Host

For each client available on a unit, you can define any number of host connections. The
unit includes Microsoft Terminal Server Client for ICA and RDP. For information on
creating connections with alternate clients, refer to the documentation pertaining to
that client. Your unit may contain additional client software. If so, you can select alternate
clients for creating a connection in either of the following ways shown in this chapter.

Starting the Connection Wizard

You can start the Connection Wizard in the following ways:

1. When you finish the Setup Wizard, if no connections were previously defined,

the Connection Wizard appears automatically to ensure that you define at least
one.

2. When you start the terminal, if it has been configured, but there are no

connections defined, the Connection Wizard appears automatically to ensure that
you define at least one.

3. On the Configuration tab of the unit’s Terminal Connection Manager, click Add. In

the resulting New Connection Dialog box, select Microsoft Terminal Server Client.

The rest of this section describes creating a connection using the Connection Wizard.
