Term Terminal Connection
Configuring an Auto-start Connection
You can configure one or more connections to start automatically each time a user
starts up the unit.
To do this, complete the following steps:
• On the Configure tab of the Terminal Connection Manager, select the connection
you want to start up automatically.
• Click Startup.
• In the Connection Startup dialog box, click Automatically start the selected
connection at startup.
Stopping an Auto-start Connection
To prevent this auto-start sequence, complete the following steps.
• On the Configure tab of the Terminal Connection Manager, select the
connection you do not want to start up automatically.
• Click Startup.
• Disable the auto-start setting for the current connection by making the connection
the default connection.
• To return to your running connection, go to the Connection tab of the unit Connection
Manager and select the “Active” connection. Click Connect.
Modifying a Connection
To modify attributes of an existing connection, complete the following steps.
• Insure that the connection is not active prior to modification.
• On the Configure tab of the Connection Manager, select the connection you want
to modify.
• Click Edit.
• The client’s utility for modifying a connection appears. Make the desired change.
Modifying a Microsoft Terminal Server Client Connection
To modify attributes of the Microsoft Terminal Server connection, complete the
following steps:
• On the Configure tab of the Connection Manager, select the desired RDP
connection.
• Click Edit to display the Properties sheet.
