Chapter 4. Operation
Indicators
Operator Panel LEDs
Located on the operator panel are LEDs that indicate some of the operational states of
the Console Concentrator. LEDs that may be found on the operator panel include the
following:
Diag - Lights when the Console Concentrator is in Extended Diagnostics mode. Customer
service representatives use this mode.
Config - Lights when the SCON-20L/22L has been IMLed in Configuration mode, or
there is no “saved” configuration. It will remain on until the Console Concentrator is
IMLed after configuration.
IML - Lights while the Console Concentrator is executing Basic Assurance tests and
loading its operating program. When the IML light goes off, the operating program is
loaded and the Console Concentrator is ready for service.
Check - Lights when an error or failure has occurred that requires corrective action.
Power - Lights to indicate that the Console Concentrator is powered on and that +5
volts are present.
HD-Act - Lights to indicate hard disk drive activity.
