The right CDA allows direct attachment to Ports 0 through 15. Ports 0 and 8 permit
attachment directly to coax devices or attachment to a multiplexer. Ports 16 and 24
permit attachment only to a multiplexer, when installed in the 22L and configured to
support 32 coax devices.
The left CDA (optional) allows only direct attachment to coax devices. Ports 16 and
24 are disabled.
Some CDA cards may only have 16 ports on them (no port 16 or 24).
Assigning Logical Ports
Logical ports are assigned in groups of eight devices. These groups are ports:
• 0 through 7
• 8 through 15
• 16 through 23
• 24 through 31
