This screen allows the user to view and change various parameters of the
selected Configuration Profile, which include the following:
W ire M od e Displays the type of wire interface used by the span (always Two-Wire).
P S D Typ e Used to configure the use of symmetric/asymmetric PSD (Power Spectral
Density) mask for the associated line.
Values: Symmetric, Asymmetric
Default: Symmetric
D ata R ate (M in ) This field is used to set the minimum attainable line rate in the span.
D a ta R ate (M ax ) This field is used to set the maximum attainable line rate in the span.
R em ote This field enables/disables support for remote management of the units in a
SHDSL line from the STU-R via the EOC.
Values: Enabled, Disabled
Default: Enabled
P ow er F eed in g This field enables/disables support for optional power feeding in a SHDSL
line; however, this version of the WANsuite 5650 supports only wetting
current. Other values will have no effect.
Values: No Power, Power Feeding, Wetting Current
Default: No Power
Tra n sm issio n M od e Used to set the regional setting of the span.
Values: Annex-A (ITU-T G.991.2), Annex-B (ITU-T G.991.2)
Default: Annex-B
