9 – Other Settings and Information Display

Digital output settings

You can set the digital output format to SPDIF or AES/EBU.
1. Press the MENU button to open the

I/O

page of the

MENU

screen.

2. Use the DATA wheel to select the

DIGITAL OUT

menu

item, and press the ENTER/MARK button.

3. Use the DATA wheel to select

SPDIF

(default value) or

AES/EBU

.

SPDIF

: Output in SPDIF format.

AES/EBU

: Output in AES/EBU format.

4. When you have finished making the setting, press the

HOME/DISP button to return to the Home Screen.

System settings

Use the

SYSTEM

page to make various settings to suit

the environment and conditions in which the unit is to be

used, as well as to view system information.
1. Press the MENU button to open the

SYSTEM

page of

the

MENU

screen.

On the

SYSTEM

menu screen, you can make various

settings described below.
Use the MARK (

Â) and (¯) buttons, ENTER/

MARK button and the DATA wheel to select each item.

2. When you have finished making the settings, press the

HOME/DISP button to return to the Home Screen.

Power AUTO OFF settings

Use the

AUTO

OFF

item to set the amount of time since

being last used until the unit’s power automatically turns

OFF when operating on batteries.

Turning the backlight off automatically

BACKLIGHT

item to set the amount of time since

being last used until the backlight automatically turns OFF

when operating on batteries.
