Creating the Demo Database
Create a new database - from the File drop down menu select New.
Note
If both Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008 and Oracle 10g are available to PATGuard then the user must select
which database format to use.
The Data Link Properties dialog box will appear.
If using Microsoft SQL Server 2008, ensure the Server Name is correct (\SQLEXPRESS by
default) then type a relevant database name into 3. Select the database: and select OK.

For Microsoft SQL Server 2005 ensure the Data Source is correct (\SQLEXPRESS by
default) then type a relevant database name into 3. Enter the initial catalog to use: and select OK.
