Index and Limit Marker Installation

Index being removed from the
perforated sheet by holding it
by its handle.

Put on finger cots before starting the
index and limit markers installation.
NOTE:
Before installing the Limit and Index Markers,
make sure that the blue protective film from
the PurePrecision Tape Scale has been
removed.
Removing the Index Marker from the
Perforated Sheet
NOTE:
Remove the Limit and Index Markers from the
perforated sheet slowly to avoid premature
detachment of the markers from the handles.
Begin by holding the Limit and Index Marker
sheet so that blue protective film is on top (facing
you) and the reflective surface is at the bottom.
Starting from the handle, remove the index
marker from the perforated sheet by pressing
gently from behind with your finger as shown.
It should pull away from the transparent adhesive
liner. Holding only the handle, slowly pull the
index marker from the perforated sheet.
NOTE:
Be sure to hold the Index and Limit Markers
by the handle only. The adhesive on the
handle can be touched, however be careful
not to touch the adhesive on the areas of the
markers that will be applied to the tape scale.
