Inlet Fittings
The Blackmer GDP is shipped without inlet fittings. Appropriate inlet fittings must be
installed on site.
Configuration Table
The following table lists three possible inlet configurations.

Installing the Fittings
To install the fittings, proceed as follows:

Apply a pipe sealant (that is approved for use with petroleum products) to the threads.
Do not use Teflon
®
tape. Teflon tape may shred off and get caught within
components.
CAUTION

Hand-tighten, and then wrench-tighten approximately by another 3 turns. The pump body is
aluminum.
Do not overtighten inlet fittings. The pump body is made of aluminum.
Overtightening may strip pump threads.
