6 – 9820K Setup and Special Features
Purpose
This section describes the setup and special features of the 9820K pump. The purpose of this
section is to provide instructions for:
• Accessing electronic components
• Setting up internal switches and optional battery backup power supply
• Viewing and resetting electronic totalizers using the actuator
• Operating the pump
• Locking the nozzle
Electronic Component Access
Before attempting to startup the 9820K, it is important to become familiar with the location of
some key components as well as the various switch-selectable operating modes.
1 Unlock and remove the front panel ( Figure 6-1 on page 40 ). Remove the two screws located at
the top of the door assembly. Lift the door assembly to remove it.
