• Update To: User configurable option allows selecting which slot gets the next firmware update. The
available options are Slot 1, Slot 2, or Oldest.
• TFTP Server IP Address: The IP address of the Server running the TFTP server program, where the
CMR-8500 update package file resides.
• Image File Name: The name of the package file, residing on the TFTP server, to update the CMR-
8500 with.
Also on this tab is the “Reset Unit” button, which reboots the CMR-8500 when selected. The updating of
firmware on the CMR-8500 will always require a reboot of the system for the changes to take effect.
4.2.4.1.6 Management: Auto Logout

The Auto Logout Tab adds a layer of security when managing the CMR-8500 via the web interface. This
tab allows enabling auto logout and setting a time parameter, so the web interface requires a valid login
name and password after a set number of minutes.
The configurable parameters for this page are:
• Enable: Enables or disables the auto logout feature. When disabled, the user is not automatically
logged out.
• Logout Time: The number of minutes for the interface to wait after inactivity to require a user log
back on with a valid user name and password. The range is from one (1) to fifteen (15) minutes.
