Command Mode: Configure mode
Logon to Configure Mode (Configure Terminal Mode).
The switch_a(config)# prompt will show on the screen.
switch_a(config)#

Usage:
Use hostname command to set or change the network server name.
Use the no hostname command to disable this function.

Command Syntax:
(no) hostname HOSTNAME
HOSTNAME specifies the network name of the system.

Example:
The following example sets the hostname to switch, and shows the change
in the prompt:
switch_a(config)#hostname switch
switch(config)#
Password:
