3. To set each mic channel (primary input) that will be automixed to post-fader, click

the letter to the right of the channel name and choose Post-Fader from the pop-
up menu.

4. Set the gain for each primary input, but DO NOT assign the primary inputs to the

mix bus (i.e., L/R/M).

5. Patch the post-fader direct output of each primary input channel to a channel on

the Dugan-VN16.

6. Enable the direct output by clicking the IN switch below the knob on the screen.

7. Set the direct out level to unity (see below).

NOTE:

In VENUE software version 3, the Dugan-VN16 inputs and outputs 1–8 appear as AES 1–
8, and the Dugan-VN16 inputs and outputs 9–16 appear as Analog 9–16 in the FOH tab
of the Patchbay.
