4.3.- PLC
The
CirLAMP Manager uses PLC technology to communicate with the nodes (CirLAMP
Nodes) through the electrical network.
PLC (Power Line Communications) transfers data via the electrical network using advanced
modulation technology.
The PLC frequency bands are defined by different committees: FCC for North America and
Canada, ARIB for Asia and Japan and CENELEC for Europe.
The
CirLAMP Manager works on Band B, from 95kHz to 125kHz, defined by CENELEC.
(European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization).

4.4.- ETHERNET
The unit has an Ethernet port (terminal 7 in
), which can exchange information bidirec-
tionally through the web server and transfer files through FTP, using TCP/IP type communica-
tions.
