3x+8 Out of Range Error: Bits 1-8
These eight bits indicate that an over or under range condition or an alarm
condition exists on at least one channel within the group. Bits 1-8 correspond
to eight groups of four channels each. When an Out of Range Flag is set,
the Channel Status mode (see Section 4.3) can be enabled to report which
channel is out of range.
☞ Note: An over range error indicates that a channel input is a value greater than or equal to the
maximum for the range selected for that channel group. An under range error indicates
that a channel input is a value less than or equal to the minimum for the selected range.
