Line Parameters
The Line Params tab allows you to set the basic xDSL2+ and Ethernet
negotiation modes for a Selected Profile composed of the current
LineMode and AccessMode selections.
When the LineMode selection is
ADSL2+, the available parameters are
the following:

Annex defines the three modes of
available ADSL features from the
ITU standards.

Annex A is ADSL service
functioning over POTS.
³
Annex M allows increased upload speeds from 1 Mbps to
3.5 Mbps.

Annex L increases the range of ADSL service enabling the link to
work at a distance of 7 km or 23,000 ft.
³
VPI is the virtual path identifier (VPI) ranging from 0 through 255 for the
ATM connection.
³
VCI is the virtual circuit identifier (VCI) ranging from 32 through 63535
for the ATM connection.
