Reading Results
Statistics
The Statistics tab allows you to view transfer mode statistics and xDSL
counters.
The available test results are:

TransportType options include
packet transfer mode (PTM) and
asynchronous transfer mode
(ATM).
³
SyncLostCount is the number of
times the unit lost synchronization.
³
Received Bytes is the number of
active (non-idle) PTM/ATM cells or frames received on a channel.
³
Transmit Bytes records the number of active (non-idle) PTM/ATM cells
or frames transmitted on a channel.
³
PTMCRC is the number of cyclical redundancy check (CRC) errors of
the PTM.
³
PTMCV is the number of constant velocity (CV) errors of the PTM.
³
VDSL Counters lists the Local and Remote results for the following
counters:

CRC is the cyclical redundancy check (CRC) Interleaved/Fast
counter.
³
HEC is the header error check (HEC) Interleaved/Fast counter.
³
FEC is the Reed Solomon forward error check (FEC)
Interleaved/Fast counter.
³
FEC Seconds is the number of seconds when FEC is detected.
³
Error Seconds is the number of seconds when code violation is
detected.
³
Reset Counters button sets all counters to 0.
