Reading Results
LAN Status
The LAN Status tab allows you to view the customer information
configured for the local area network (LAN).
The available information is as
follows:

Client IP is the IP address of the
network device connected to the
LAN port.
³
Client MAC Addr is the MAC
address of the network device
connected to the LAN port.
³
LAN IP is the local network IP address of the unit.
³
LAN SubMask is the network address mask used to identify if the IP
address is within the same local area network.
Network Activity
The Network Activity tab allows you to
view the PPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol
over Ethernet), DHCP (Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol) and TFTP
(Trivial File Transfer Protocol) mode
sessions resulting from the voice tests.
It displays whether or not registration
activity for the voice protocol is
detected.
SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a signalling protocol used for
establishing sessions in an IP network.
