The following fields can be set or are displayed:
Parameter Description
Transit Area ID Allows the entry of an OSPF Area ID
− previously defined on the switch −
that allows a remote area to
communicate with the backbone
(area 0). A Transit Area cannot be a
Stub Area or a Backbone Area.
Neighbor Router The OSPF router ID for the remote
router. This is a 32-bit number in
the
form of an IP address
(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) that uniquely
identifies the remote area’s Area
Border Router.
Status Displays the current status (UP or
DOWN) of the corresponding OSPF
Virtual Interface.
