Winding a bobbin
1. Turn off the machine. Open the bobbin visor and
remove the empty bobbin.
2. Lift the presser foot and press the bobbin winding
indent located on the hand wheel (illustrationi).
3. Place spool of thread on spool pin and slide spool
pin holder firmly over rim of spool. Note that the
thread must come out from the top of the spool
(illustration 2).
Note: Use the spool pin holder that is slightly larger
than the spool of thread. Be sure to place the
groovedend of the spool toward theright.
4. Lead thread end and snap it into lower thread
guide notch, then upper notch, from left to the
right, making a turn (illustration 3).
