ATTACHING THE lAT BAR, ROWER BAR OR
STRAP TO THE LOW PULLEY STATION

For some exercises, jfie Chain
(38)
should be ortocKed between the Lot Bar ond the
Main Cable with two Coble Clips. Adjust the length
of the Chain between the Lat Bor and the Main
Cable so the Lot Bar is in the correct starting posi
tion for the exercise to be performed.
The Rower Bor (34) or the Strop (35) can be
offoched in the some manner.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
Inspect and tighten all ports eoch lime you use the CROSS TRAINER e. Replace any worn ports immediately. Outside
surfaces of the CROSS TRAINER e con be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Keep oil liquids away from
the stepper console and the PERSONAL TRAINER computer.
Most CROSS TRAINER e problems can be solved by following the steps below. Find ihe applicable symptom and follow

SYMPTOM: THE POWER DOES NOT TURN ON

Maice sure thot ihe transformer is fully plugged into the jock on the CROSS TRAINER e, ond into o 120-volt outlet.

SYMPTOM; THE MAIN CABLE DOES NOT MOVE SMOOTHLY, OR THERE IS SLACK IN THE MAIN CABLE
a.
Inspect the rouh'ng of the cables and moke sure thot they ore in the grooves in all of the pulleys. If they
ore
not,
correct the problem. If the cables are not properly routed, they will be damaged when used.
b. If there is slack in the Main Coble (51), locate the
Adjustment Brocket (53) near the bottom of the
right side shield. Hold the end of the Weight
Coble (52) firmly, and slide the Adjustment
Bracket forther onto (he Weight Coble. Tighten
the 5/16" Nut (82) against the Adjustment
Bracket. Test the Main Cable. If the motor stolls
or hesifofes, loosen the 5/16“ Nut slightly. If the
5/16" Nut is tightened os for os possible ond
there is still slack, the Main Cable should be
reploced. See ORDERING REPIACEMENT PARTS
on the back cover of this owner's manual.
