the current time, shown as TIME
instead of the DIVE TIME
the current temperature with °C for
Centigrade [or °F for Fahrenheit]
the surface time in hours and minutes
(separated by a colon), telling the
duration of the present surface
interval (Fig. 3.30.)
the desaturation/no-flying time in
hours and minutes is shown next to
the airplane in the center window of
the display (Fig. 3.31.).
If set to Nitrox mode, the following informa-
tion will also be shown:
the oxygen percentage labeled with
O
2
% is shown on the left side of the
center window
the current oxygen toxicity exposure
shown with an Oxygen Limit Fraction
(OLF) bar graph along the left side of
the display.
3.6.2. Dive Numbering
Several repetitive dives are considered to be-
long to the same repetitive dive series when
the dive computer has not counted the no-fly-
ing time to zero. Within each series, the dives
are given individual numbers. The first dive of
the series will be numbered as DIVE 1, the
second as DIVE 2, the third as DIVE 3, etc.
If you start a new dive with less than 5 min-
utes of surface interval time, the dive comput-
er interprets this as a continuation of the pre-
vious dive and the dives are considered to be
the same. The diving display will return, the
dive number will remain unchanged, and the
dive time will begin where it left off. After 5
minutes on the surface, subsequent dives
are, by definition, repetitive. The dive counter
