Unusual sound quality

settings.
• Check it .S.AI'’ is turned on.
• Check that the Audio Lang./Mode or .S’/IP is set to your language.
Humming or buzzing noise
• ddie dA’ is in its lamp cool-down cycle, d’o prolong the life of the dA^'s lamp .system, the dA' mu.st warm up and cool down pn iperly.
You may notice arlditiona! noise during these cycles.
• Maybe the speakers are turned off. Check the LLXLiD/VARLABUI (.W.7'control panel in tli.c Audio menu.
No picture, sound okay
• II tlie indicator on the fiont of the d’A’ is Irlinking for one minute, the lamp inside of your d’V may need to Ire changed. Refer to the
Ldnuer indicaior is blinking or jhisbing section on the previous page for more inlormation.
• Ym might have tried to turn on the dA'' during lamp cool-down. Wait a few moments and the picture will be displayed.
No sound, picture okay
• Maybe the sound is muted, dry pressing the volume up lautton to restore sound.
• Maybe the speakers aie turned off in the Audio menu. Check the L'lXlilVVARlAliLJi 0/..'T(.ontrol panel in the Achxinced Aiidio menu.
• II using an S-'Addeo, component or composite; video connection, remember to also eonneet the device’s I, and R Al ’DIC) Olid’ jadts to
the dV’s 1. and R INPUT jae:ks.
• Check the Maximum Volume and Slariup Volume settings in the Aduanced Audio menu.
Channel search finds few channels
• The cable connected to the CABLE/AiSTENNA INPUT jack might be loose.
• Yotir off-air antenna might be getting a weak signal. Move it higlier err get a laigger antenna.
• Select all the erptions in the
Channel Search
menu, and retiw channel search.
Can't select certain channel
• .May be blocked or not approved in the I/irental Controls menu,
• If using a VCR, clieck to make .stsre the ТА' А'Рр ЬиПсяа on the A'CR is in the correct mode (press the dAvA’CR or INPUd’ button on
your V’CR).
