Psiing the TW's Meimi System
Mono
Tills should only be used when the stereo signal is weak.
Stereo
Sjilits the incoming stereo audio signal into left and right
front channels,
The following options are available only if Fixed/Variahle Out is set to Variahle Level. Speakers On:
Off
No SRS proc:essing is applied to the audio.
SRS
Adds greater depth and stereo separation to stereo audio signals, Delivers a panoramic 3-D sound
stage from stereti material. Use the SRS FOCUS adjustment tin the right to adjust the clarity.
Audio
Lang./Mode Lets you choose the default audio language/mode you want to hear for ATSC (digital TV)
programs. If the .Audio Lang../ Mode icon (®l) in the banner lights, it means there is more than one audio language./
mode available. The sycstem automarically sets the audio jirogram to the defarrlt audio language,/mode from the menu
when the channel yoti are viewing is a digital channel and the specified language is available for that program.
Some programs can have audio mode available that can be heard but that cannot be set as the default. To select and
hear those audio modes, navigate to the “Change Audio” action button and select OK. or use the SOl.iN.D button on the
remote.
Note: You
can change the Audio
Lang/ Mode
temporarily by pressing the
SOUND
button on the remote
control.
Changing channels reverts the Audio Inng./Mode hack to the default Audio Lang./Mode originally selected in the
menu.
SAP
(Second Audio Program) When turned on and available. Second .Audio Program plays the analog program’s
audio in a .second language. SAP is also used to broadcast a program’s audio with descrijitions of the video for the visu
ally impaired, S.AP might also contain audio which is totally rmrelated to the video.
Note:
SAP is broadcast in mono and is only availcihle fcrr analctg progratns. not digital programs.
Startup Volume
Select the volume level that you want when the TV is
turned on, then press the OK ivtitton to activate the option. To deactivate
Startup Vtrlutne, access the menu and pre.ss OK.
Maximum Volume
This feature is intended to stop the volitme from being
turned up too lotidly. Set the volume at the loudevst level yoti wotild want
to hear. To hear h.ow loud you’re setting the volitme, press and hold the OK
button.
Note:
Startup and Maximum Volumes apply if Fixed/Variable Out is set
to Variable Level. Speakers On.
Fixed/Variahle Out
Displays a choice list that lets you turn the TV’s front
internal speakers on or off and set the Fi.xed./Valiable audio output to a fixed
or variable volume output level. The choices are;
