2 Select Administration > MarkView Admin .
3 Click the Preferences tab.
4 Search for the preference MVCN_DEFAULT_CODE_COMBINATION_ID.
5 Click the Details button and select the System Preference tab.
6 Specify the to use for the suspense account number and click Save.

If the preference already has a value set, record the value for use during SupplierExpress

configuration.

7 Click List to return to the preferences list and search for

MVCN_AUTOCREATE_NONPO_LINE.

8 Set the preference to TRUE and click Save .
9 Exit MarkView.

Verifying the Installation

To verify that the agent is running, open a web browser, and enter the URL http://

. For example:
http://localhost:9000
http://MarkView:9000
where MarkView is the name of the system where

SupplierExpress is installed.
If the installation is successful, a message stating that the agent is running appears. If the

installation is not successful, your browser displays a message stating that it could not

connect to the page.

Activating SupplierExpress

After confirming a successful installation, open an incident through the Kofax Customer

Portal to inform Kofax Technical Support that the SupplierExpress Agent is installed. Include

the following information:

▪ Agent Port Number
▪ Agent server IP address
▪ Names of the MarkView groups or your company contact to enable for access to

SupplierExpress

The Kofax Technical Support team enables access to the SupplierExpress service based on the

information you provide, ensures that your information is deployed on the SupplierExpress

Host server, and provides you with your SupplierExpress URL.
You can set up SupplierExpress groups to have administrative privileges or user-level only

privileges. (For more information, see

Setting SupplierExpress Access for MarkView Groups

on page 52.)

Changing Passwords

If you change the user name or password for the MarkView schema user, SupplierExpress

schema user, or MarkView Administrator, update the expressagent.properties file.
