Select “Pos Corr” on the setting screen (screen 1).
Press the [ENTER] key on the console to select the item.
Select “Head A” on screen 1.
Select “Y corr only” on screen 2.
Set “Correction item” to “θ” on screen 3.
Set “Y area” as shown on screen 3.
The measurement area is corrected so the edge surrounded by the Y area always becomes horizontal.

Perform the master registration beforehand for position correction (page 6 in this manual).
The correction setting can be made for X direction and Y direction respectively.
Make the suitable correction setting according to the direction of the position change that occurs for the
measurement target.
Slide the [PROG/RUN] switch on the side of the console to display the settings screen (screen 1).
(1) When there is no tilt with the target (2) When there is a tilt with the target
(without position correction)
(3) When there is a tilt with the target
(with position correction)
The target size can be measured. Even if the target is tilted, the
measurement area remains at the original
position. Accordingly, the different
position from the one you wished to
measure originally will be measured. The measurement area is tilted
according to the tilt of the target.
The step height you wished to
measure originally can be
measured.
