• 150 amp main system fuse: This fuse is in-line on
the positive cable, between the battery pack and
the control panel. See Figure 5.4.
NOTE: If this fuse is blown, there is a major short in the
system. Check for chaffed wires or a shorted bat-
tery pack before replacing the fuse.
NOTE: The torque on the main fuse connections is 45 - 55
in lbs (5 - 6 Nm).
• Key switch: The key switch is a custom, two pin
key switch that is similar in appearance to most
MTD key switches. See Figure 5.5.
NOTE: This is a 48 volt system. DO NOT try to replace the
key switch with an after market key switch. The 48
volts can cause the after market switch to fail.
• Deck motors: The deck motors are 3-phase,
brushless DC motors with a keyed shaft.
See Figure 5.6.
• A 748-0376E blade adapter fits over the shaft to
mount a blade.
NOTE: The blades used on the RZT-S Zero are specifi-
cally designed for these mowers to maximize run
time and cut performance. Do not use after-market
blades.
NOTE: The motor harness is part of the motor and can not
be serviced. Any damage to the wires or the con-
nector and the whole motor will need to be
replaced.
