Connect the microphone to the MIC jack.
2
Insert the cassette for recording in deck 2.

Press REC PAUSE to put the cassette deck
into the recording standby mode.

Press VOICE MUTE.
Do not press VOICE MUTE when you use a compact disc
originally made for “KARAOKE” use.

Start playing a compact disc.
The recording will automatically start by the synchro-start
function.

Start “KARAOKE”.
To play back the tape recorded in “KARAOKE” mode, press VOICE
MUTE to go off the display showed in the step 3 on page 70.
Notes:
•When you playback the tape recorded with "KARAOKE” function
press VOICE MUTE [also ECHO (For model SH-CH750, only for
the area except for Australia and New Zealand), KEY CON (For
model SH-CH750, only for Australia and New Zealand) if they
were ON] to OFF.
•You cannot change the tone quality (equalizer curve or simulated
listening environment) while using this function.
•You cannot record with “KARAOKE” function using DNC,
V. BASS or cassette tapes or compact discs originally made for
“KARAOKE” use.
! Using the “KARAOKE’
disc piayer
feature with a video
1. Connect the microphone to the MIC jack of this unit, not to the
MIC jack of the video disc player.
2. Adjust the microphone level using MIC VOL on this unit.
Note:
When you want to use two microphones, connect microphones to
MIC jacks on the video disc player. Be sure to reduce the
microphone volume level of the video disc player. Then adjust the
overall level using the main volume on model SC-CH750/
SC-CH950.
