To record from another disc on the remaining biank portion of the tape (LINK)
The automatic link function allows you to link tracks from another
disc on the remainder of the tape.

Make sure that LINK indicator lights after editing the compact
disc.

Press OPEN/CLOSE to replace the disc with
another disc.
Note;
When you record from the same disc in succession, press
PROGRAM to select desired tracks instead of pressing
OPEN/CLOSE.

Press the CD play button.
The system assigns tracks to be recorded on the remainder of
the tape and displays the results.

If you record from more discs, follow the
above procedure.
Notes:
•When the first disc has been edited using the last fade editing,
tracks to be recorded on the tape will not be displayed, but it is
possible to record from another disc.
•When the display shows “0:00", you cannot record from another
disc. Press the stop button on the compact disc player to cancel
the edit mode.
• If the time remaining on the tape is shorter than the tracks to be
recorded, you cannot record the tracks. Replace the disc with the
tracks shorter than the time remaining on the tape or press the
stop button on the compact disc player to cancel the edit mode.
■ To specify the tracks to be edited
When you want to specify the tracks to be recorded on the blank,
program tracks using the program play procedure. (See page 33.)
After completing the step 1 left;
1. Press PROGRAM on the remote control, and then specify the
tracks to be recorded in the desired sequence.
2. Press the CD play button.

The compact disc player automatically scans for the peak
(highest) level of the entire disc (ATLS; see page 47), and then
recording will start with the same editing mode of the first disc.
