Configure tab
The configure tab enables all users the option to change the location ID and the asset tag number.
Changing the current device configuration requires a Welch Allyn Gold license and a Biomed log
in.
You must update the device serial number when you replace the main board within the device.
To update the device serial number:
1. Select the PMP tab, the configure tab, the Serial number tab, and click Change.
2. Enter the serial number from main circuit board as the Host Controller serial number. The
serial number of the main board is located on the board. The PMP serial number is located on
the bottom of the device and you must program the main board with this serial number.
To update the radio configuration:
1. Verify there is a Radio IP address in the PMP device information pane.
• If you see a Radio IP address, continue with step 2.
• If you do not see a Radio IP address, the device radio is not active and you cannot
continue with this procedure
2. Select the PMP tab, the configure tab, the Radio tab, and click Change.
3. Follow the onscreen prompt and click Configure. The Welch Allyn Software Tool connects you
to the radio manufacturer's configuration web page. On this page, you can configure the
device for use on another network.
