Appendix II TCP/IP Configuration

TCP/IP network protocol configuration for Windows XP/2000

For Windows XP/2000 users, you do not need to install the TCP/IP protocol as it is
already installed when you first install a network card. As such, only the
configuration for TCP/IP is shown.

1. From

the

Start menu - click Control Panel, then click Network and Internet

Connections. Then click Network Connections and your computer screen will
change to a similar figure shown below.

2. Right click the network connections you want to edit and click on the

“Properties” button.
