Tongue Lift Cylinder Locks
Center lock channels are provided for use during service
procedures with the planter partially or completely
unfolded.
They are not necessary for normal transport operation.
When the planter is fully folded, the center section is
supported at lift by the wing locks on the tongue.
Install Center Lift Locks
Refer to Figure 108
1.
Remove lock channels from storage locations.
2. Raise the unfolded planter.
3. Install lock channels on exposed cylinder rods.
Remove Center Lift Locks
Refer to Figure 109
1.
Raise the unfolded planter, to allow removal of the
lock channels.
2. Move the lock channels to their storage locations.
