4.12 Following Harrow
Adjustment
The following harrow can be adjusted
by loosening the bolts (1 in Figure 27)
and repositioning as required (in most
instances the arm should be set close to
horizontal). After repositioning ensure all
bolts (including bolt 2) are retightened.

4.11.9 Row Unit Down
Pressure
The down pressure of the row units is
controlled using the knob and lower gauge
at the front of the drill (A and B on Figure
26).
Always run openers level in work.

4.13 Pre-Emergence
Markers
The pre-emergence markers work after the
seeding elements. They are able to be re-
positioned laterally on the beam in order
to provide the best fit for tractor / sprayer
wheelings.
The depth can be adjusted using pins at
the top end of the marker arm. Disc angles
can be adjusted by loosening the bolt and
repositioning the angled blocks (Figure 29).
