Unfold and lower drill.

Block tyres with wheel chocks provided.
S
Detach and store drill in an area where
children normally do not play.
1.20 Practice Safe
Maintenance

U n d e r s t a n d p r o c e d u r e s b e f o r e
commencing work. Use proper tools
and equipment. Refer to this manual.
For brake work, see specific information
on page 81.

Work in a clean, dry area.
S
Unfold and lower the drill, put tractor
in park, turn off engine, and remove
key before performing maintenance. If
work must be performed with implement
raised, remove lock channels and raise
machine fully. Lock in position with taps
and support with axle stands as a safety
precaution.
S
Make sure all moving parts have stopped
and all system pressure is relieved.
S
Allow drill to cool completely.
S
Disconnect battery ground cable (-)
before servicing or adjusting electrical
systems.
S
Welding: Disconnect battery ground.
Protect hydraulic lines. Avoid fumes from
heated paint.
S
Inspect all parts. Make sure parts are in
good condition and installed properly.
S
Remove buildup of grease, oil or debris.
S
Remove all tools and unused parts from
drill before operation.
