Is the paper damp? Replace the paper.

Hair-like marks
appear around black
halftone printing
The paper was left unwrapped for a long
time (especially in a dry environment).
Replace the paper.

Shadows appear
around areas of
dense black printing.

and type, and confirm that your printer
driver settings are correct.
The transfer roll cartridge is old or
damaged.
Replace the transfer roll cartridge.

Ghost image Did you print an Adobe Illustrator file with
the Registration Mark option selected in
the PostScript driver?
Select the AI Registration color setting in
