"N" is a paper tray.
"xxxx" represents the paper size and orientation.

Replace

Transfer Roll

The transfer roll cartridge needs to be replaced.
Action:
Replace the transfer roll cartridge.
See Replacing the Transfer Roll Cartridge (TR-11CL) on page 7-11.

Reinsert

Transfer Roll

The transfer roll cartridge is not inserted in the printer or the cartridge is set improperly.
Action:
Push the transfer roll cartridge all the way into the printer.
See Replacing the Transfer Roll Cartridge (TR-11CL) on page 7-11.

Replace Print

Head Cartridge

The print head cartridge needs to be replaced.
Action:
Replace the print head cartridge.
See Replacing the Print Head Cartridge (PH-12CL) on page 7-5.

Set Print Head

Cartridge

The print head cartridge is not inserted in the printer or the cartridge is set improperly.
Action:
Push the print head cartridge all the way into the printer.

Replace Fuser
cartridge

The fuser unit needs to be replaced.
Action:
Replace the fuser unit.
See Replacing the Fuser unit (FP-12CL) on page 7-14.

Reinsert Fuser
cartridge

The fuser unit is not inserted in the printer or the fuser unit is set improperly.
Action:
Push the fuser unit all the way into the printer.

No Paper in

Tray1

There is no paper in tray 1.
Action:
Load paper into paper tray 1.
See Load Paper in the Paper Tray on page 3-7.

Load xxxx

in N

Paper size xxxx is not loaded in tray N or is different from that specified on the

computer.
Action:
Load paper xxxx into tray N. If the computer settings are incorrect, cancel printing.
Check the following settings on your computer, reconfigure any that are incorrect, and

reprint.
• Is the correct paper tray specified?
• Is the correct paper size specified?

Check Paper

in N

Paper is not properly loaded in tray N or is different from that specified on the computer.
Action:
Pull out tray N and check the paper. If the computer settings are incorrect, cancel

printing.
Check the following settings on your computer, reconfigure any that are incorrect, and

reprint.
