Basic Menu Operation
Use the menu screen to set the energy save mode, job time-out, network settings and printer
configuration.
Menu Structure and Basic Operations
There are 5 main menus.
For details about individual menu screens, consulte List of Menu Items en la página 4-6.
Each menu has several levels. Program the printer by selecting the different levels and selecting the
option you want.
Re-setting the printer settings
Example: Re-set the Job time-out setting to the factory default settings.
Press the and buttons simultaneously.
Menu Contents
1:System Use this menu to program the energy save mode, job log settings, and basic printer
operation.
2:Maintenance Use this menu to reset NV(Non Volatile)memory to its defaults, adjust paper quality to
plain paper, and set access restrictions to certain menus.
3:Parallel Use this menu to configure the parallel interface.
4:Report/List Use this menu to print the printer configuration list, panel settings list, PCL font list, and
print log.
5:Network Use this menu to change network settings.
6:USB Use this menu to change the Adobe Protocol settings.

When processing finishes, the default settings appear.
