Corrective Action
Off
The module is not
powered or is not
connected properly to
the drive.
•
Securely connect the module
to the drive using the Internal
Interface (ribbon) cable.
•
Apply power to the drive.
Flashing
Red
In Single mode, the
module is not receiving
communication from
the drive.
In Multi-Drive mode, the
module is not receiving
communication from
the drive, or the drive is
not a Reliance Electric
drive.
•
Verify the setting for
parameter 22 (MDI I/O Cfg).
•
Verify that cables are
securely connected and not
damaged. Replace cables if
necessary.
•
Cycle power to the drive.
•
Use Reliance Electric MD65
and MD 60 AC Drives.
Solid
Red
The drive has refused
an I/O connection from
the module.
Another MDI peripheral
is using the same MDI
port as the module.
Important: Cycle power to the
product after making any of the
following corrections:
•
Verify that all MDI cables are
securely connected and not
damaged. Replace cables if
necessary.
Orange
In Single mode, the
drive is not a Reliance
Electric drive.
•
Use a Reliance Electric
MD65 AC Drive.
Flashing
Green
The module is
establishing
communications with
the drive.
•
No action required. This
status indicator will turn solid
green or flash red.
Solid
Green
The module is properly
connected and is
communicating with the
drive.
•
No action required.
