Remove material between
these two holes to form a slot.
Loosen screws just
enough to insert the round
pin of the Strap Assy.
Strap Assembly
Attach the E.L.R. to
the Housing with the
supplied screws.
Attach the Strap Assy.
to the Motor Link.
Carefully remove the End Cap Cover,
End Cap, Cover, Cover Plug and
Housing Cover.

When using Narrow
style, extension
MUST be used
When retrofitting to existing
vertical rod devices,
adjustment of the rods is
required for proper operation
of the Electric Latch Retractor.
Once the unit is properly
installed, energize it so the
push pad is dogged down,
then reconnect the vertical
rods to the device and make
the proper adjustments.
