INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
CAT. NO. 37G-TP-1, 2 & 4
1. Install the housing by nailing the mounting
brackets on the housing to the frame support as
shown in Fig. 1 or frame in the housing as
desired for wet or dry wall construction.
2. Assemble the gasket and trim ring to the housing
with (4) 6-32 x 1/4 flat head screws (provided in
packet) as shown in Fig. 3. Adjust the mounting
brackets to locate the housing as required for
flush or profile trim, Fig. 2.
3. Install the conduit (by others) to align with the 1/2
NPT tapped holes in the J-Box as shown, remove
the (4) screws retaining the socket mounting plate
and lift out.
IMPORTANT - WHEN INSTALLED IN BRICK OR
BRICK VENEERED WALLS, THE RECESSED
PORTION OF THE HOUSING MUST BE
COATED WITH ASPHALTUM OR SIMILAR
PROTECTIVE MATERIAL. SOME TYPES OF
BRICKS RETAIN MOISTURE AND OTHER
SUBSTANCES THAT CAN DAMAGE THE
HOUSING. DO NOT CLEAN BRICK WALL WITH
ACIDS WHILE FIXTURE IS IN PLACE.
4. When installed in concrete pour or mortar and in a
situatiuon where direct water exposure is
frequent, the concrete or mortar is to be suitably
treated with a water sealing or repelling agent to
insure that the fixture housing does not remain
continuously wet.

the like to come into contact with the product or to block light from the product, as this may cause an unsafe condition.
