Install the Housing Per Instructions on Page 1
1. Reflector Istallation, 2-Piece Reflector:
Install
the reflector after all ceiling installation and
finishing work is complete. Separate the upper and
lower reflectors by disengaging the two reflect or
clamps. Apply thumb pressure up and outwards to
release the clamps. With the heatsink and conduit
extending through the plaster flange aperture insert
the ends of the heatsink spring into upper reflector
neck in alignment with slots, push the heatsink
down to the desired position. Place the heatsink
spring in the upper set of slots for a 70 watt lamp
and the lower set of slots for a 57 watt lamp.
Note: The reflectors for the 9" CFT970EB housing
have only one set of slots.
2. Install the lamp(s).
3. Re-assemble the upper and lower reflectors with
the reflector clamps.
4. Push the assembled reflector up into the plaster
flange until the flange on the reflector is flush
against the finished ceiling. Allow the three reflector
springs to retain the reflector against the ceiling.
